Pacific Point has implemented Salesforce for a variety of State Departments including Agriculture, Ethics, and Commerce, helping them modernize IT systems and improve citizen service and engagement.  In 2016, Pacific Point was awarded GSA Contract No. GS-35F-048GA, IT Schedule 70.

Success Stories

Client Overview: The mission at the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs is to uphold fairness and public confidence in the marketplace, promote sound consumer practices, and increase knowledge, opportunity, and justice in the community.

Project Overview: Pacific Point designed and built a department-wide internal payment and reporting application to enable collection reporting and meet State fund collection and regulatory reporting requirements.  Additionally, the solution supports full operations for the Business Registration division for Securities registrations and filings and enables Securities enforcement operations. The public can submit filings, pay fees, check status, and address deficiencies through the self-service portal. State staff process filings and complete examinations and investigations through the system. Pacific Point built the solution on the Salesforce App Cloud and Salesforce Community Cloud.  To complete the solution, Pacific Point also leveraged several Salesforce AppExchange solutions including CongaComposer and CongaSign.

Business Management Officer, State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs

Client Overview: The Hawaii Department of Agriculture’s (HDOA) employees statewide work to support, enhance, promote, and protect Hawaii’s agriculture and aquaculture industries. HDOA works to create and maximize opportunities for exporting; and facilitate growth of existing and new agricultural commodities and by-products. In addition, the department works to prevent the introduction and establishment of plants, animals and diseases that are detrimental to the state’s agriculture industry and the environment.

Project Overview: Pacific Point designed and built a Plant Quarantine application to support the manage inspections and permitting.  Importers and shippers are able to submit manifests of commodities electronically to the HDOA portal and based on risk, HDOA staff are able to manage inspections.  Permit applications may be submitted online and processed through the Salesforce solution.  Pacific Point built the solution on the Salesforce App Cloud and Salesforce Community Cloud  Pacific Point also installed and configured several Salesforce AppExchange solutions including Pulsar to support off-line mobile inspection capabilities.

Salesforce Technologies:

Client Overview: The Department of Hawaiian Homelands provides direct benefits to native Hawaiians in the form of 99-year homestead leases. Homestead leases are for residential, agricultural, or pastoral purposes. The intent of the homesteading program is to provide for economic self-sufficiency of native Hawaiians through the provision of land.

Project Overview: Pacific Point implemented Salesforce Service Cloud for the Department of Hawaiian Homelands beneficiaries contact center.  Talk Desk, a Salesforce AppExchange product, was implemented to support the departments IVR and CTI requirements.
