Pacific Point has joined Pledge 1%, a global movement to create a new normal for companies of all sizes and stages to have a positive social impact through their business. Pacific Point is joining thousands of companies around the world who have committed to Pledge 1% of either their product, profit, equity, and/or staff time to whatever charity of their choosing. Pacific Point is proud to announce its commitment to donate 1% of Time with a focus on encouraging youth to pursue careers in technology.

Pacific Point has a long history of giving back and will continue their impact program on empowering youth and adults through skill enablement workshops and professional mentoring. Pacific Point will continue support of STEMworks Hawaii’s programs in encouraging students toward technology careers through professional mentorship. Additionally the Technology Readiness User Evaluation (TRUE) Initiative will continue as a focal point for Pacific Point through workforce development and educational sessions on technology, specifically Salesforce, to support industry and economic advancement.

Deena Tearney, CEO of Pacific Point is personally invested in supporting youth programs focused on Women in Business and Technology Enablement. She shares, “What I have found through my time speaking to and mentoring youth is that this next generation is truly empowered professionally and will fearlessly try new things. I’d like to help inspire young young people to follow their career dreams as well as develop their global consciousness.”
